Electricity, or lack thereof, would be that weapon formed against Ray Lewis, that ended up prospering

Yes. Baltimore had all the momentum when the outage occurred.

Yeah, it would make it tainted IMO.

Everyone knows momentum is HUGE in football. People say it constantly in every game. Everyone. Coaches, players, announcers, fans, etc.

Gotta make a play and get the momentum back on our side. Need something good to happen to change momentum. One big stop can change the momentum. Turnovers are momentum killers. Etc, etc, etc.

That power outage was the biggest momentum killer in superbowl history probably.

San Francisco wasn't gaining momentum with the power outage. They were down 3 scores.

I don't care. I am happy for the outage. The game sucked until it happened and I could not care less who wins. Now the game is good and I am happy.

But the power outage totally changed the game, like it or not.

And that will be the big story and the headlines tomorrow should San Fran win. Book it.

I don't know if tainted is the right word, but anyone who thinks this game turns out this close without the power outage is full of shite.

No it didn't. It will simply be used as cheap sports writer narrative tool than real analysis of the game.

You severely overrate momentum.
