Mayweather's line is around -250, his lowest since the De La Hoya fight (-185)

On top of Mayweather's guaranteed contract money he gets after the fight, he gets a high % of the profit from the event which includes PPV buys...which will be a huge number for this fight.

Ortiz was absoutely hitting him and was getting solid shots in on his face especially that round the fiasco went down.

Great, so he landed a couple of shots on Floyd in the corner. Did you see the compubox stats I posted earlier? That fool didn't even land a jab in that fight.

Mayweathers baby jabs don't hurt fighters

No, his left hooks hurt fighters. Ask Ricky Hatton about it.

Cinnamon is bigger than Mayweather. And will weigh about 165 come fight night and that's something Money May hasn't seen in a long time

Wonderful....that won't help Canelo when he gets countered every time he opens up and it won't help him when Floyd keeps his distance and confuses the hell out of Canelo with his movement.

Canelo is the one who's going to need to make some adjustments here. Austin Trout gave him a shite load of problems and he isn't half the fighter Floyd Mayweather is.

You're one of those people who will be stunned on September 14 when Canelo looks awful. Some of us won't, though.

Hatton who is almost 15lbs lighter 2 inches shorter with a 7 inch reach disadvantage? That Hatton?

Don't be surprised if Mayweather is the one with issues when he fights a fighter his own size

Mayweathers movement? You mean his weak stick and run away move? Sure bruh

wo of the three judges would've had the fight even - 2 rounds apiece - after the 4th round if it weren't for the KO (ETA: or the point deduction). FWIW

Did you watch the fight? That was a clinic floyd put on that night. Ortiz didnt belong in the ring with floyd.

I dont give a damn what the judges had.

Floyd will be too much for Canelo and will slip most punches he throws. Canelo isnt the slickest of boxers and Trout exposed that.

Imo this fight will make Canelo look like a young fighter that has no clue what to do to answer the counter punching genius.

I almost gaurentee that Alvarez will be gassed by the 6th and be frustrated swingly wildly trying to find floyd.

You just proved your severe lack of knowledge when it comes to this sport.

Floyd Mayweather is a SMALL welterweight. His actual weight is probably more like 140 than 147. That's why Floyd doesn't gain much weight between the weigh-in on Friday and fight night on Saturday. He's fighting heavier than he probably should.

It's called hitting your opponent and not getting hit in return, known to the world as BOXING aka THE SWEET SCIENCE. That is the name of the game.

And I always find it funny when people like you come on here and call Mayweather a "runner" yet Floyd is always the one landing more punches than his opponent every time he fights. Get a frickin' clue.

Show me a fight where
Mayweather "ran".

Now that i see your argument its clear you just dont like Floyd and really cant discuss with facts.

No poster has Floyd glasses on, its just that some guys see him for what he is. Imo thats a fighter thats top five all time pfp and
top two of all time as far as pure boxing and defense skills.

I have said this before, that fans should appreciate his skills and give the man his due. He is definitely a once a generation fighter

Floyd's tougest fight was against Cotto. Took a lot of punishment in that fight, but showed he could take a punch. He went back to his Pops sayin it was time to get back to his defense so he wouldn't absorb that kind of beating again. I like Floyd, but he has a polarizing peronality of course. A lot of people wanna see him fall and he knows it.

He's fought all the top fighters out there. Fought Corrales in his prime when he was knockin out people and dominated him, he's not ducking anybody. He just won't fight Paquiao who refused to get blood tested around the clock.

Too bad he's too pussy to prove it against real competition thats why he'll never be in the conversation of greatest of this generation much less all time.

This is the last time I respond to you. Floyd i believe in the last few years has only been the bigger man in one fight and that was marquez.

Everyone else has been the bigger fighter.

You are either ignorant or just being a troll

Ok I'll excuse him for all the past ducks. But this fight is absolutely indefensible. There is no possible explanation for having a catchweight in this fight besides Floyd being a complete pussy.

Floyd is much smaller than canelo and is should be applauded even more with taking a fight with a younger, bigger fighter.

How can you call him a pussy? Is he a pussy for not fighting Andre Ward? Its the same kind of.stupid question

Sounds reasonable to me. Mayweather is not 152. he is a natural welterweight size at this present time. He is fighting the bigger man here. if he were a pussy he wouldn't fight him at all.

Perfectly stated. How you can call him a pussy for taking a fight with a guy that will weigh 17-20 pounds heavier tham him the night of the fight is beyond me

Yeah lil arse Marquez, lil arse Hatton, old as hell Mosley, Ortiz was shorter and who the hell is Victor Ortiz? Guerro is the same size he was also terrible

And Cotto is 2in shorter so maybe you need to check again cause he hasn't fought anyone bigger than him in the past 5yrs

Ghey DeLa Hoya was the last "bigger" fighter that Money man fought
