Floyd Mayweather Jr. will surprisingly make his return to the spotlight with a bout against Japanese kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa, according to Dan Rafael of ESPN.com.
It is not yet known whether the fight will be under boxing or mixed martial arts rules.
The bout is scheduled for Dec. 31 at Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan, as part of the Rizin 14 pay-per-view.

MMA???? He won’t even fight him with kickboxing rules, much less MMA. This will be a spectacle/boxing “fight”. He will carry him for a few rounds, hit him a few times, and they’ll stop “the fight” before he even gets a single knockdown.

No way it’ll be under MMA rules. Floyd is a legend boxer but he would get fricked up if someone could kick him or take him down. That shite is just way too dangerous for a guy like him to dabble in.
