Yeah, because we all know 33-5 runs happen all the time in the NBA.
As well as 27 game winning streaks?
Winning a few in a row is no big deal. They play well on the road.

You see the interview with Pop on Espn today?
He mad.
He mad.

So you think Pop and the Spurs would lose 2 straight close-out games?
In Miami, I think they could. You don't think the Heat could win 2 straight at home?

Benching a player that's shooting 22%? Brilliant coaching
It goes both ways. He let Ray Allen keep playing when he was shooting the ball like shite and now he is lighting it up. He could have easily reduced Allen's time to <5 minutes per game as well, but he didn't

Dude. This isn't Oklahoma City. The Heat are damn good yes, and the best team in the NBA.
But its not like falling behind 2-1 against the Pacers last year or 1-0 against OKC last year.
They are playing a team whose core has won 3 NBA titles together (Manu and TP weren't Spurs in 99).
If the Heat lose tonight, then yeah its a damn big deal.

Not really. If they lose tonight then win game 4 they are in a great position to take the series

Let's just all agree that 2-3-2 is a really fricking awful format.

Ugh.
I'm saying this to all the idiots out there saying the Heat could give as shite if they win or lose tonight.
Against OKC or Indiana, yeah they could get away with taking a game or 2 off.
But the Spurs are a different beast.

So you think the Spurs will be the favorite if this thing goes to 7 games
Posted on 6/11/13 at 1:05 pm to boXerrumble
I don't buy it. They really don't have a guy who will carry them every game. They are old and a step behind. They don't have a supporting cast.
Tis Miami team is better than last year and do not get torqued when behind
I think you are giving this years spurs team too much credit.

Nobody said that. Stop reaching. We said it would not be over if they got down 2-1.

I'm not sure if you can bet that way in Vegas though.

Tony Parker has done this all playoffs.

Miami overall is an older team... With a injured Wade, and a erratic Bosh.

Kawhi Leonard, Danny Green, Gary Neal, Boris Diaw isn't a bad supporting cast.

No. I believe you're putting too much credit into that Heat 27 game win streak and the fact they've only truly looked like that in 3 games in the entire playoffs.

I guess we will just have to see what happens but I disagree with Geno that it's a must win tonight. Both teams will be alive tomorrow. No matter what happens tonight.
But my prediction is Miami in 6. I also think they win tonigh and game 5 in Texas.

I predicted this originally too
But I'm convinced after the 1st 2 games that this series is going 7.
