Nicholls gets one home game at least.

And I see they're still shipping the SLC out to Montana and Eastern Washington. Good Lord.

North Dakota St is undefeated, they should bump Notre Dame and Michigan out of the CFP Playoff.

Am I doing this right, UCF?

Not even close.

If this was the FBS, 7-4 Sam Houston would make the playoff over NDST. I mean, eye test. It's obvious.

Alabama's dominance has been pretty unprecedented, but I think what the North Dakota State Bison have done the past several years has been pretty impressive as well. They continue to win like Bama and UCF. They are 108-8 since 2011.

How come Ivy League schools can't make the playoffs?

I don't think the Ivy and HBCUs don't participate for the most part.

They’ve won every game on their schedule for more than a year now.

It’s the same argument as UCF’s. Competition doesn’t matter.

I see a ton of 7-4 and 6-5 teams in there.

And somehow people want this model for FBS.

You go 6-5 and make the national championship playoffs? Lololol

Some solid teams, but I see a lot of 8-3s, 7-4s, 6-4s and even a 6-5 in there.

Frick that

They are extended an invite but it's ivy league tradition to turn it down.

This is awesome. Could you imagine doing this instead of the bull shite bowl setup? This would be so much fun and don’t give me the crappy regular season is meaningless argument.

I wish just once they wouldn't send all the Southland teams to the freaking Great Plains and Rocky Mountains where they get their teeth kicked in because it's like 8 degrees.

There are plenty of teams and conference and Southeast they could be paired up with, but nope. You're going to Montana. Have fun.

I don’t know if Incarnate Word and Lamar deserve major accolades, or if the fact they made the playoffs is an indictment of the Southland Conference.

Both schools earned their first ever playoff birth.

IC didn’t start playing football until 2009 as a Division II independent.
Lamar disbanded their football program for 20 years. They started playing again in 2010 as a FCS independent.

These long standing members of the Southland should be ashamed:
McNeese
SELA
Northwestern St.
Stephen F. Austin
Sam Houston

Alot of these teams start the year 0-2, they play money games against P5 teams, and then run the train on their conference and make the playoffs

McNeese pissed away a golden opportunity to take the conference this year

I saw the message board and fans were saying how proud they were and we will get them next year

BS. This team shite the bed and ended 6-5. They shouldn’t settle for mediocrity but they will and Guidry will be back

How is it that 8-3 Nichols and 9-2 San Diego are bracketed against the three seed, while 7-5 UNI and 7-4 Lamar are against the 6 seed?

Yeah it was right there for the taking. They couldnt handle business against losing teams. Nicholls did.

This bracket pisses me off to no end.

You see all these teams getting at 7-4/6-5 yet McNeese was snubbed last year from a playoff birth

Incarnate Word is 6-4 but 2 of their loses were to FBS schools. You cannot penalize FCS schools to making a paycheck by playing FBS schools.
