D. McNabb at Cleveland or M. Cassell at Oakland? Who would you start at QB?

Is anybody worried about Portis slamming his coach. That is all I need, to have him suspended in the middle of my playoffs.

Chris Johnson vs. Houston or Steve Slaton vs. Tennessee?

And as every week my receivers are obviously my weakest position. Boldin is a definite start so pick 2 out of the following:

Vincent Jackson vs. KC
Kevin Walter vs. Tennessee
Deion Branch vs. St. Louis
Isaac Bruce vs. Miami
Davone Bess vs. San Francisco
Steve Breaston vs. Minnesota

So I'm in the playoffs, and I have to make a tough choice, as each is capable of big points each week.

Who do I fill my final RB/WR slot with?

Randy Moss (@ Oak)
Wes Welker
Ronnie Brown (SF)
Lance Moore (@ Chi)

ETA: I also have Warrick Dunn (@ Atl) but he has not blown up the boards lately.

Start both (if you can) then Vincent Jackson or Deon Branch; both have good matchups.

I'd go with Breaston and either Bess or Branch. That's funny tho b/c I'm in almost the same situation. I'm starting Fitz and looking for help elsewhere. I've been starting Cotchery but he's sucked lately. I'm thinking of playing him again this week though. Also, McClain is my flex right now vs PIT (which is tough) so here's who I have to choose between for WR2 and flex (if better than McClain):

Cotchery vs BUF
Bradley vs SD
Engram vs STL
S. Holmes vs BAL
Bess vs SF (waiver claim)
Branch vs STL (waiver claim)

I'm thinking of going with Cotchery and Bess. But I'm not sure if Bess would give me more than McClain (with Willis and Rice banged up).

CRAP!!!!

going against MJD this week and.....

quote:

Jags coach Jack Del Rio said on his radio show Tuesday that Fred Taylor could be placed on injured reserve due to a thumb injury suffered in Week 14.

Taylor's absence would be a huge boost to Maurice Jones-Drew's playoff value with the Packers and Colts on the horizon the next two weeks. In addition to Taylor's injury, the Jags are expected to place fullback Greg Jones on injured reserve with an ankle injury. They are bringing back both Alvin Pearman and LaBrandon Toefield for workouts Wednesday

I would roll with Johnson and Slaton over LT. I know that sounds crazy, but Tennessee is run-first, and CJ is too explosive. Add to that Slaton will get 20+ carries, you might want to go with both.

But, if you are sticking with LT, go with CJ, as Slaton will have a tougher matchup against the Titans D (but 20+ carries should offset the matchup).

Anyone have any updates on Marion Barber and whether he'll play? I'm wondering if Choice will be worth picking up off waivers? Nothing on ESPN that I could see.

ETA: I found this on Sportsline, looks like he will probably play even though he may not practice.

quote:

Cowboys coach Wade Phillips spent the early minutes of his Monday news conference denying that the team ever questioned the toughness of RB Marion Barber, which became an issue only because owner Jerry Jones brought it up after Week 14's game at Pittsburgh. Said Phillips on Monday: "I don't want to speak for Jerry, but I don't think you question his toughness. He's one of the toughest guys we have." He also said he thinks Barber can play Week 15 against the Giants. "He's going to try and practice this week," Phillips said. "I know he's feeling better. I think he will be out there or try to be out there certainly. ... He can play without practicing, and he may have to do that this week." (Updated 12/08/2008).

Anyone still think Choice is worth picking up?

If you have Barber, or are/will be playing against the guy who has Barber, then yes, otherwise NO
