if you are ron mexico, then yes. to me, a guy that is going to fill up the stat sheet and who as been compared to scottie pippen by his gm has greater value THIS SEASON (as you like to say) than someone who will just score and get a few boards.

I am not as high on Marion as you are Karma.
Really the biggest reason I want out of #1 is because I have a history of making the wrong pick at #1 in all my experience in Fantasy sports.
