but they have enough talent on D to where if Meyer even makes them middle of the pack in offense this year they could go 11-1 12-0.

OSU s looking at a 7 or 8 win season

But it is not great stretch why we lost. Fumbles!!!

I guess the FACT that James could NOT get outside and use his speed against LSU's VERY fast D meant nothing to the loss huh???? Bottom line on why you lost is because you simply got dominated by a far better team. FACT.

I'd put us at 9-10 wins. Nine would be my choice if pressed.

Ya. Id say 8 or 9 without looking at the schedule. I think the people that expect Urbz to come in and win 11 games are the delusional ones.

Dukke, you guys beat us fair and square. Any Duck fan that denies this is in denial. This thread is about the 2012 season though. Oregon is a much different team that showed up in the cowboy classic. I was pumped up about the 2011 team and for good reason. Oregon ended up a Rose Bowl winner.

This 2012 team will exceed the 2011.

James got his ankle stepped on and thus injured, however he had bad nasty cramps. I blame our coaches for not instructing them to drink enough water 24 hours before the game, as my drill sargents instructed me while operating at Fort Knox, the South. James, Barner, Whemes(or biggest O-linemen)and several others went down and were effected greatly by nasty cramps. Dallas had record heat, way over 100 btw. We Oregon boys are not used to that. We had in the high 70's that week, and we have zero humidity. But did not that stadium have a roof all you wise ones retort? Yes, but according to the knowledge that has been given to me, if one is to hydrate, it needs to be 24 hours in advance, that ones body uses from. But record Texas heat, all those days before game, to which our guys where effected much from the cold Pac NW. They were not used to it. I blame my coaches for not forcing them to guzzle much water the day before, as my coaches and drill sargents in the army to which I searved in the South- years ago, taught me and in how the water we take in effects us the day before, not mins before. (It is the water we drink a whole day before that hydrates us, not mins before...)And such, trickled. Players got injured, L.M. James only played a total half a game... Huff even got injured, our best WR. Much you do not know... And our little brand new fresh DAT was called in.... We all know how he did. He had fumble-itis. we literally gave up 21 points to LSU that day in fumbles close to our endzone in easy scores. You really expect a team to win when they fumble so bad as us that day? If you think I am some odd Duck homer, you need to read Ted Miller of ESPN, or many of the other leading sports writers who covered that game...for they same the same thing as I...

Keep dreaming that USC is part of the big boy club

okay...I'll keep dreaming.

11 National Titles, 38 Pac 10 Titles, more NFL draft picks than any other school...and only 4 years removed from dominating the last decade...and 10-2 last year whipping you in Autzen.

You are really full of yourselves...I usually defend Oregon but you are a retard full and full...USC has a paltry few "down" years and suddenly they aren't a big boy in CFB; you have two years of beating USC prior and suddenly you're the greatest team in history. Learn your place.

We are talking about 2012, right? I will place a bet on the 2012 game.

ETA: Bama and LSU are the 2012 big boys.
