Directed by Jason Hehir (The Fab Five, The ’85 Bears, Andre the Giant) and produced by Mike Tollin, the anthology will chronicle the simultaneous rise of Jordan and the Chicago Bulls and the popularity of the NBA during the 1990s. The docuseries, made with the full participation of Jordan and other key figures from the Bulls’ championship teams, features more than 500 hours of never-before-seen footage from the’s team’s championship run in the 1997-98 season, along with commentary from dozens of others sports luminaries

I'd rather seen them do a complete docuseries on the entire dynasty instead of one championship run. I will watch, and enjoy, but I'd rather see a Bird/Magic, Dream Team, Lakers vs Celtics type of documentary done on them.

Jordan is participating fully. Pretty clear he feels his legacy is being threatened by LeBron.

not related, but the Vince Carter documentary on Netflix is a must watch.

He didn't like Kobe's Oscar.

Aside from Drake being on it, it was fantastic.

So are ESPN & Netflix working together on this one? I find that a bit interesting with ESPN recently launching ESPN+

I actually liked that part of it.
VC made Toronto Cool... and Drake basically kept that going when he left.

Jordan is so competitive that this is a reasonable take.

Unless I misunderstood, they're going to talk about all of it. For example, the trailer talks about Jordan's tears after the first championship.

Yeah. 10 parts should be able to hopefully have some of the pop culture during the same years.

this should end the MJ vs Lebron debate....

How many money shots will Wilbon take in a 10-part series? 10? 20?

Didn't know this existed. What's the name of it?

They better seriously expand the stuff on here. I had the free trial, and wrapped up all the 30 for 30's that I hadn't seen. They don't really have all that much content on there to be honest. They need to have all the SEC storied etc.

Their point was MJ has become a mythical Unicorn and alot of his feats and stories embellished. They said if done right, this docuseries can show alot of people yes he was great and likely the best ever, but it isnt some romanticized untouchable being that people have created
