I understand. Just curious what ESPN could do to stop the bleeding.
Lower their asking fee to cable companies and in the mean time eat a shitload of money that they have tied up in TV contracts for the NBA and the NFL.
The above isn't happening, so they have to figure it out or these cuts will happen again, and soon. They got fleeced by the NBA

Do you know David Greene also? They might have been roommates
No
I know they rode scooters together and were total toolbags
But regardless, he's grown into a pretty decent CFB guy for ESPN

Reading through this thread it's hard to tell who has actually been fired and who y'all are just speculating about.
Ed Werder is the biggest name so far.

Oh you ain't lying. Sometimes I think it's some rob Gameday is pulling on him when he's on camera and he's not in on it

In the OP. He is updating it

They need to put Fowler back on Gameday

And how much does Miss Jemele make?
Oh, her net worth is 4 Million, her salary is 1 million.
I can call for her firing all fricking day.

Her net worth to the company is limitless because she's a loud, independent black woman

Like other colleagues, I've been informed I am no longer working for ESPN. This is a crummy day, but I'll never stop pursuing my passion.

Buccigross leaving. Ug. That sucks.
Posted on 4/26/17 at 10:31 am to Pettifogger
Game day isn't the same without Fowler
Posted on 4/26/17 at 10:31 am to VermilionTiger
I'm thinking Tebow officially gets axed. No more of the back and forth with SEC Nation. You're either committed with us or not sort of thing

I got nostalgic about Fowler leaving too, but in the end, it's fine without him

So it went from being a really shitty show to a really, really shitty show?

I think Corso is probably going soon anyway, so they won't see it as a huge issue. Give him maybe through the end of this season or whatever
for CFB I think they would get rid of their fake QB guru Whitfield, Desmond, the Bear and maybe Galloway

ESPN expanded rapidly to capitalize on a market. Market is no longer there so they need to contract. Have one main channel, an alternate or two for live sports, and heavy online presence. Also, they need to shift their politics to neutral, though it's probably too late for that
