Piss poor preparation of Fuhrman for cross by the prosecution, too. Given F Lee and Cochran's experience, Fuhrman should have been coached that he needed to own any mud that they slung at him because "first rule of being a trial lawyer: never ask a question you don't already know the answer to." If F Lee asks if you ever used the n word in the past 10 years, it's because he knows for a fact that you did and he wants you to lie.
But then the prosecution also featured Darden getting completely baited into asking OJ to try the glove on so they weren't exactly the wisest collective in the room

There's no way. With Rodney King, 8 black ladies, and a former member of the black panthers? No way. He never would have been convicted. It was lost once the DA chose the venue.

Scheck was ruthless but on point. Completely destroyed the credibility of the investigation and cast serious doubt over what evidence could be trusted. The fact that he was rather entertaining to watch makes him the most likable member of a table full of villains.
