What a beautiful runner.
OJ was the the 3rd leg on the 1967 Southern Cal team that broke the World Record in the 440 by a full second.
Since the 440 relay is no longer run in the track world -- meters became the preferred standard in subsequent years -- the record still stands to this day.
And if you took their time to make it 4X100...their record stood for 30 years (as a collegiate record.)
Simpson is one of the fastest running backs in the history of college football, with a best of 9.53 in the 100-yard dash and a 10.2 in the 100-meter dash.
He was the first of three Heisman winners to earn All-American honors in both track and football.

OJ's story is just kind of a backdrop. It's a period piece about race relations I guess. I don't care if it's propaganda, the footage is amazing. It's like watching real life Mad Men.

I'm tuning in because of the reviews.
They said it was very cinematic and with a strong sense of real journalism.
Hasn't disappointed.

I am NOT mad at all...He was a great player.. But so were a TON of other athletes from 1965-1978. But O.J. gets SPECIAL treatment cause he KILLED his wife............ Go figure...........

If you want to do a SPECIAL about O.J. Lets do it about how great of A FOOTBALL PLAYER he was... Don't give HIM special treatment and NOT give the same treatment to other athletes as good [or better] than him when he was great.
This show is just a RACE -BAITER....... And nothing else........

Not even gonna lie, I downed it because I'm just tired of rehashing old wounds and hoping we can just forget about it and move forward. But these first 30 minutes are eye opening and amazing. Mothership has me hooked for the moment

You're not paying attention...it's also 7-parts.
This is setting the stage.
And not every reveal or exploration of past reality is race-baiting...some people like scholars call it history.
