I'm not sure Baylor will stay high enough to be in a NY6
OU wins tomorrow and there is a three way tie between OSU, TCU, and Baylor and tiebreaker goes to Baylor --assuming OU gets into the playoff.

tiebreakers are irrelevant after first place

Have to love the Big 12. Trying to cash in on tiebreakers, legitimate or not.

How is that, considering TCU beat Baylor?

You realize baylor has lost 2 times right?

Under the 3 way tie break rules, Baylor wins. It's a screwy system, point differentials then head to head between the best 2 pt differentials.

If OU wins tonight then Oklahoma State, Baylor, and TCU will each have 2 losses. Baylor would need to beat Texas next week.
OU makes the playoff then the 2nd place Big 12 team is given the auto Big 12 spot in the Sugar Bowl as the B12 representative.
quote:
If three or more teams are tied, steps 1 through 4 will be followed until a determination is made. Once a team has been eliminated from a multi-team comparison, it is dropped from further comparisons. If only two teams remain tied after any step, the winner of the game between the two tied teams shall be the Champion.
TCU is eliminated first here. Then Baylor won the head to head matchup vs Oklahoma State. As such, Baylor would be 2nd in conference and would get the invite to the Sugar Bowl.

Then how is the Sugar Bowl rep determined if OU makes the playoff?
