alex smith has been a game manager that doesnt make mistakes the last couple of years.

schaub has been a very good qb that makes mistakes at the most inopportune time.

well a mediocre QB arguably worse than both just led a team to a super bowl win, so i don't get what's the big deal

even last year people said Flacco >> Shaub

they were wrong

schaub is a better QB by basically every measure except flacco has a very slight lead in INT rate

So should I become a Packers, Seahawks, or Dolphins fan now?

FYI, don't mean to hijack this qb thread but the Ed Reed deal is still in the works. Not yet finalized.

Y'all hold your horses...

@McClain_on_NFL: Ed Reed deal not finalized with Texans. Rick Smith and David Dunn still negotiating. Could be done Thursday.

Patriots killer Pollard wont have a chance to do any killing this season

quote:

Titans signed SS Bernard Pollard, formerly of the Ravens, to a one-year contract. Pollard is one of the most fearsome head-hunters in the league and led the Ravens in tackles last year, but there's a reason he's on his fourth team in seven years. Previous reports stated the 28-year-old is a problem in the locker room and nearly staged a mutiny in Baltimore last year. He also struggles mightily in coverage, where ProFootballFocus ranked him 68th among 85 qualifying safeties. Pollard will give the Titans some toughness as he steps in ahead of George Wilson opposite Michael Griffin, but there's more name than game here.

Titans dont play the Pats this season. DIAF Pollard
