Every year Duke seems like they struggle the first time they play a really athletic team.

KU played us pretty tough wire to wire, I wouldn't be shocked if they're able to hold out but it's a lot easier to do it in a one game setting vs. multi-day tourney like this.

I really don't see how anyone can complain about a ref advantage in this game, but regardless of what is going on in a game, people will claim it just for the hell of it.
Just a bad first half for Duke. Withey has been shockingly competent, Robinson is very impressive, and Taylor is creating space for himself. I am very surprised KU is leading since they literally have 5 players. Fouls won't be an issue, but I expect they will feel fatigued at some point.
However, this is a very poor performance by Duke.

He looked bad when I was watching his other Maui games. The one thing I feared was that Taylor would drive by Curry/Thornton on most possessions and that has definitely happened.

work in progress. neither playing badly nor well is really a surprise from him anymore. he got a triple double in our opener and is basically a product of danny manning being the best big man coach ever.

Tyshawn Taylor is NOT that good of a player. Someone on Duke needs to step up and play better D on their guards. Dawkins and Curry have been invisible tonight

he knocks that down nicely but a step back from there is the spot he keeps shooting from that he shouldnt be
