with the only advantage for the ‘24 team being three point range which the 88/92 team had virtually none of outside of Bird.

That’s a pretty big fricking advantage though

Stockton was coming off a broken leg, and probably shouldn't have been there.

Oh I agree.

I’m just saying people look back and see Magic and Stockton and think they were loaded at PG when in reality neither were playing at a high level during the Olympics which is why Pippen had to play point forward down the stretch.

It’s also why despite the big names I think the 2024 team would be competitive with them as they were during the Olympics particularly if it were played with modern rules related to hand checks.

Curry and Durant stretching the defense for LeBron could’ve been an issue.

But I still say two players that could’ve completely changed the 92 lineup were Shaq and Thomas.

You give them a healthy Isaiah Thomas with young explosive Shaq off the bench and I think it becomes almost non-competitive again.

I seem to recall this guy, had a flat top and a thick NYC accent. Might have played ball at St. Johns. He's not Steph but Chris Mullin could flat out shoot it.

The Dream Team now, with guys in their 60s or dead, would beat the dikes by 50

It’s unrelated, but it’s insane how long MJ’s star power has held on. I just walked by a 7-11 here in Hong Kong and Jordan is still on Gatorade bottles.

The man is still marketable to people who are half a planet away and too young to have seen him play live.

I looked him up and he didn’t shoot the 3 much at all. He shot it well but averaged less than 3 attempts a game
