it was bad, the worse part is neither hit last week or this week looked like worthy contacts of the head to make these injuries so severe. Dudes career is going to be a shite show.

NFL players for 70 years used to go into games after massive head trauma, then play again and again and again.

I've never seen someone so concussed they were throwing up gang signs.

As someone that has had two concussions, I couldn't imagine getting 2 in 5 days.

I’ve had lower back issues my entire adult life. If I really push myself my quads can straight up go numb. I’ve stumbled like that before. Blood flow being narrowed to your leg muscles can cause this.

Is that what happened to Tua? Possibly. I doubt he would have been in the game with a concussion in today’s NFL.

Sure, except the difference is Tua slammed the back of his head agaisnt the ground in an NFL football game, not quite the same anecdote there T-baw

At what point do you determine someone is injury prone? He’s had a few freak injuries now

Ground is ground. You don't have to be nailed in the head with a helmet. He was whiplashed to the ground that would be a felony out of sports. It was a legal sack but the ferocity and quickness. He basically got MMA'd.

It just takes a little common sense to know that he shouldn’t have been cleared to return to the Bills game. Doesn’t take a phd, md, neurologist etc. Crazy that people with those qualifications allowed it to happen

1. Gets pushed down and hits head.
2. Gets up unsteady literally shaking his head

This right here is enough to make him a “no go” by the NFLs policy

3. Starts to run and almost crumbles to ground

At this point he should be ruled out without question. There’s no subjective test or response that a player can give after that to deem him able to return to the game.
