If Ohio State doesn't fix their defense even marginally, Michigan will be favored.

Your defense isn't nearly as bad as you are making it out to be. You adjusted to Minny in 2nd half and they couldn't move at all.

If Michigan State or Penn State aren't a problem for Michigan than neither is Ohio State because all those teams look the same...1 point win by Ohio State over a PSU team that lost by a TD to Michigan State...not much separation. In fact you could easily say, PSU was the better team but for turtling it.

So in essence you're saying Michigan is easily the best team in the Big10.

That Minny win on Saturday by Ohio State was not impressive at all to a team that got destroyed by Maryland...a team that lost to freakin' Temple.

Michigan could lose all 3 games...Michigan State, PSU and Ohio State...it's all peas in the same pod. Big10 is full of parity this year.

Ohio State is ranked 41st in S&P+ Defense

Michigan is 1st.

Overall S&P+, Michigan is 4th, Ohio State is 5th.

Now do offense.

The gap between OSU's offense and UM's offense is much larger than gap between OSU's defense and UM's defense.

However, I am liking the Ed Warinner hire so far. Our Oline looks improved and is improving weekly.

Not compared to S&P+:

Ohio State 4th, Michigan 27th

Well, my personal eye test shows me that osu's offense is on another planet than ours.

If Ohio State is 1 then Penn State is 1A on Michigan's remaining schedule - not much separating those two teams if you watched the PSU-Ohio State game except that Penn State looked a lot better and ate that QB up.

What?

As it stands right now, it’s pretty bad with 5 starters out, mostly on DL. Definitely not the same defense that started the season. Losing Bosa was a dagger.
