Biggest comeback in AFC or NFC championship game ever. Down 18 points in the 2nd half against the mighty Pats, came back and won 38 to 34. After Manning took the lead, Tom Brady had one more possession. After getting passed midfield, Brady was intercepted with 24 seconds remaining.

Against the Chargers in 2007, Colts lost 28-24. Peyton threw for over 400 yards, 3 touchdowns, and 2 picks (one of those picks was bounced off a receiver's hands). After putting his team ahead with 10 minutes left in the 4th quarter, he had to watch as Billy Volek led the Chargers down the field for the go ahead touchdown. This is the description of the last drive Peyton had in the 4th quarter trying to win the game: "Peyton Manning's fourth-down pass slipped through the fingers of tight end Dallas Clark with just over a minute remaining in the fourth quarter."

Tom Brady's first Super Bowl was 2001. They had a first round bye. In 3 playoff games, including the super bowl, he threw a total of, wait for it, 1 touchdown pass and 1 interception and averaged 191 yards a game. Yet he gets 3 playoff victories and a super bowl on his resume. The divisional round against the Raiders that year also involved the Brady Rule or the Tuck Rule where Brady clearly was pulling the ball back in and fumbled but they called it an incomplete pass. He also threw a whopping 145 yards in the super bowl. At this point in his career, he is the luckiest SOB alive.
His second Super Bowl run in 2003 was better but still not very impressive. IN 3 playoff games, he had 5 total touchdowns, 2 interceptions, and averaged 264 yards/game.
His third Super Bowl run in 2004 was slightly better as he threw 5 touchdowns, 0 interceptions, and averaged 196 yards per game in 3 playoff games.
In his first 10 playoff games, he went 10-0 and had exactly 2 300+ yard passing performances against 5 games where he threw for less than 210. The fact is that he was not asked to do very much in those early years, just not lose games. To give him all kinds of credit and glory for these victories is insane.
This is not a Brady vs Manning. I think Brady developed into a tremendous QB. Clearly right next to Manning since 2007. But it just shows the double standard applied to Brady and Manning when assessing post-season success. I said it before - Manning has a higher post-season passer rating than Brady despite a lower regular season passer rating, indicating Brady drops off more than Manning come playoffs. Manning just never had the fortune of one of the greatest head coaches in the history of the game.

Manning, Rodgers, and Brees are all better than Brady.
I feel like I'm taking crazy pills when people try to claim Brady is even in the argument for greatest all time. He has been a part of some badass teams, had 1 insanely awesome year, and maybe the greatest coach in NFL history behind him.
He was average or below average in his first 2 Superbowl runs.

If the argument is just how good of a qb x player is vs y player, I agree.
But between the 4 qbs listed, Brady will probably end up with the better overall career.

You learn as you go and you change franchises from one that blows mule cock to one with a pulse.
We should definitely blame the coach for not winning with the fricking Browns.
Have you seen his coaching tree of little Belichick spawns? Ridiculous.
Guy is a no-doubt top 3 coach of all time. The way they draft and get players no one else wants in the offseason and continue to perform at a top level is unbelievable.
