Does Jordan Palmer have no interest to be a QB coach for a team?

Kind of got me thinking, he's worked with a lot of the young top QBs in the game like Mahomes and Allen and Burrow and Watson. I know Burrow and Allen in particular credit working with Palmer when they made noticeable large jumps in their QB play, Burrow in 2019 and Allen in 2020. You'd think someone with that track record, there would be teams scrambling to hire him. Does he prefer to not be limited to which QBs he can work with?

He makes bank doing independent consulting without the stress of pro coaching. Great gig.

Without knowing what kind of money he makes, it’s hard to say. What’s market rate for a college or NFL coach who only coaches QBs? $5-600k give or take. He very well make more than that doing what he’s doing and has no risk of losing his job. And he can work with as many clients as he wants, when he wants, and where he wants. Being your own boss and making good money is pretty nice. I’d imagine he does pretty well with those guys as his clients

Palmer was a fringe NFL qb who only had a backup, backup slot on the Bengals eb/c he WA dirt cheap and Carson Palmer was his brother, yet he is seen as some sort of QB training for 15-22 yr olds who gladly hand over thee money in bundles to this guy.
At least a guy like Tom House was an MLB pitcher for years and has a PhD in kinetics.
Palmer is basically living off his family name at this point. It's kind of mind-boggling.

If you've seen any of his videos on social media, he's very insightful. Provides great guidance on how the game works. Just because he wasn't a successful NFL QB doesn't mean he can't be a good consultant. That's like saying Sean Payton had no chance to be a successful coach because he was a bad QB.

Nick Saban was a scrub DII player. What could he possibly know about football
Most of the best coaches in football were not good football players themselves
