Dirk Koetter, Dan Hawkins, Chris Petersen.
I don't think Bryan Harsin is that special.
Boise is a destination job.

He coached in the Big West, so congrats for that.

Yeah, but Nutt was 5-6. Failed at Arkansas.
Koetter failed at ASU.
Hawkins failed at CU.
Petersen will be fired at UW.

I thought he was there longer than that. Wtf did Arky hire him?

I wouldn't say Nutt failed at Arkansas. He was there for a decade and had plenty success. He failed at Ole Miss and Hawkins failed at CU. Koetter was somewhere in between. It ain't the 60's anymore where coaches are gonna be in the same place for 25 years.

They are never to be trusted once they leave Boise.

Boise is a good place to grow and be free to do what you want to do as a coach. The program has lots of support/resources yet the fans aren't so rabid that they want to give you a $2m raise one week and fire you the next.

Is he really doing that poorly? I feel like he's been at UW for 2 years tops

Kiss these SEC Western Division Championship rings, bitch.

His first year at UW was similar to his last year at BSU.
He has a major rebuilding job after Ty Willy and Drunk arse Sark. Not sure he can overcome that. Just like the Hawk couldn't overcome CU's losing culture.

CU was pretty successful prior to Dan Hawkins coming in as head coach.

Not really. They went 3-5, 4-4, and 5-3 in conference before Hawk.

Koetter was fantastic... Offensively. He didn't give a crap about the defense until his last year and by then had sealed his fate. I think he ran a 4-2-5/3-3-5 which gave QB's all day to throw. Can't survive in the Pac-12 with that.

but yet smst and others claim they will be a "marquee win" for Boise trying to get to the playoff
