Does anyone know if Penn State football has a deal with Schutt?

Noticed over the years that Penn State primarily has always worn Schutt helmets. Like every player.

I remember these Schutt DNA helmets specifically......

The helmets they are wearing now look similar to the Revo Speed helmets, but the ear holes are a different shape along with some other minor differences from the current Ridell helmets.

Most college teams have deals for every visible piece of equipment they wear.

I find it odd that Penn State are the only team to wear Schutt.

If someone can name another team who wear their helmets team wide I would be thankful.

This is random, I just wonder about dumb stuff like this lol.

They’re not only team to wear Schutt
They don’t wear Schutt exclusively either. But yes they’ve been Schutt majority since early 90’s.

I had heard that some players had exceptions (concussion issues) and wore other helmets at their request. But yes, majority is what I was looking for. Good to know My mind didn’t just imagine that.

South Carolina uses a lot of Schutt as does Illinois

They debuted the F7 last spring

I would never put my team in Schutt I switched because I trusted Riddell and Power Pads

I was 100% Riddell and Power my last 3 buying/bid cycles

Back in my day Schutt "air" helmets were the shite and most high schools and colleges used them primarily.

Are Schutt helmets not considered good anymore?

I know the NFL has primarily used Riddell for ages so maybe there is a safety reason other than contracts?

This is the same thing as Iowa with their Revolution helmets. I’m glad someone besides me noticed it.
