both games today were under 3 1/2 hours, and were pretty good

I can't stand hockey, but with the speed of the game, at least there's always a chance of goal at anytime. Soccer just plain fricking sucks. Field--or pitch or whatever the frick--is too big. Nothing ever happens. I'm sure the soccer snobs will tell me I'm a neanderthal and that my tastes are just unrefined. Fine by me. I don't ever want to acquire the taste for something so god-awfully boring.

im not a soccer, hockey, or MLB fan
i find all of their regular seasons boring as shite
however, hockey has a very entertaining postseason, and the world cup is fun to watch also...the MLB playoffs still suck until like game 5 of the world series

If you don't have a favorite team, the regular season does suck. Hell, I love the Braves, but still only watch Baseball Tonight instead of games during the regular season. But playoff baseball is fricking awesome.

It's so funny. If the Yankees and Red Sox play in the playoffs, it's so fricking boring because fans hate both of those teams and hate the media slobberfest that occurs. But if there is no Red Sox-Yankees, people complain because the playoffs are just too boring.

It would be much better if the Cubbies were in the WS but as along as the Yankees get beat I a happy camper. No offense to you JEAUXBLEAUX I just hate the Yankees a lot, and I love MLB.
