Lewis threw a punch on the third down play before the field goal. Could have taken them out of field goal range. Not sure what the officials were looking at.

What pisses me off is that there is literally nothing they can do. Teams/coaches/players are hamstrung when it comes to this and that just isn't fair.

To compare any of those to the missed DPI is laughable and disingenuous as hell.

One of them very likely turns a Rams field goal into a TD...

Sound familiar?

If the fix was in would the saints only have 3 penalties all game? Ask yourself that.

Should have been a delay, but it's funny how that screen shot left out the time in the 1st Qtr where play clock was on Zero when they granted McVay a Timeout.

That happens frequently. He got the timeout in with another official.

You know what this screen shot really shows??? That this officiating crew had an entire GAME of awful fricking officiating.

Sure, but it was consistent. The Saints didn't get screwed and the officials aren't the reason they lost. Drew's noodle arm is the reason they lost.

It takes zero effort. Some of you are delusional enough to think the NFL should give the Saints the win.

No, just make the right call on the field.

No sane person thinks they should or will change the outcome of that game.

Yeah, should've been offsetting.

Agreed.

Still, there's an entire board full of them.

It's the day after. Wound is still fresh and people I've never even seen post before are all over the place.

So, the Saints get 1st and 10 from the 20 and Lewis gets ejected. Sounds good.

You don't get offsetting penalties for a live ball and then a dead ball foul.

If you're going to troll, be informed.

Huh? Offsetting doesn't lose a down. 3rd would have be replayed without a yardage change.

This is the first I'm hearing of Lewis swinging anyways.

You think offsetting penalties moves the ball back 15 yards?

You should watch football sometime. It's fun.
