Do you want the hybrid kickoff in college?

Kickoff scenarios:
Kickoffs that hit the landing zone must be returned.
Kickoffs that hit the landing zone and then go into the end zone must be returned or downed by the receiving team. If downed, the receiving team would get the ball at its own 20-yard line.
Kickoffs that go into the end zone and stay inbounds that are downed would give the receiving team the ball at their own 30-yard line.
Kickoffs that go out of the back of the end zone (in the air or bounces) would also be a touchback at the receiving team's 30-yard line.
Kickoffs short of the landing zone would be treated like a kickoff out of bounds, and the receiving team would get the ball at its own 40-yard line.
Do you think college should align with the pros on this as soon as possible…or see how it plays out?

Let nfl try it first and then college game can implement after
Plus college players want to show nfl they can do that and might help them get on a nfl roster one day

As an LSU fan, yes. We have been terrible on kickoff/special teams. Hopefully this would keep up from having Kickoffs go out of bounds.

I think we’re in for a wilder ride than before…seeing who we trot out to kickoff this year will be very interesting.

I guess the XFL has tape on it…but it’s hard to imagine what even is the most effective kick in this setup…ball closer to the 20 or goal line?

I hate surprise onside kicks being eliminated with this rule so I’d be opposed to it.

Back to the old formation for declared onsides?

No. I put this with the NFL's insistence on 33-yard extra points. I don't want games decided by mostly non-football plays. Just play on.

With that logic, we should eliminate the first three quarters of the game and first and second down
