It's beyond ridiculous. And the empty stands make it even more stupid.

No I am beginning to really hate it. You have 3 teams every year that are the favorite/win it and then 5 others that might make the playoffs. It is getting very redundant. There aren't multiple great matchups like there used to be.

I am enjoying watch the entire AAC improve as a conference and watching Tulane finally make bowl games.

The trend was already there but this could be an illusory spike with the lack of practices hurting defenses much more

Seems to me the most simple answer is to actually stop the cheating and money laundering

100% this.

If you want coaching and skill and talent to still matter and to spread out, crack down on the obvious cheating.

If Alabama, Georgia, Clemson, Ohio State, Michigan, Auburn, LSU, the Florida Big 3, OU, Texas, USC, etc started getting 3 year bowl bans and 30 scholarship probations for cheating their assets off, the game would get cleaned up.

If players were draft eligible out of high school and not reliant on boosters and agents for money, the game would get cleaned up.

If conference commissioners and the NCAA had some fricking backbone and cared about the health of their businesses, they would clean the game up instead of remaining beholden to national media conglomerates that want to turn Alabama into the Dallas Cowboys and Clemson into the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Defense is almost nonexistent in CFB

I think the days of defensive dominance on a regular basis have passed by. Offenses now are much more sophisticated and hard to defend. NFL DC's have said defending this modern offenses is like playing chess (as opposed to defending traditional I formation which is like checkers).

This seems like a natural progression of football, so it's indicative of high level play. I'm a fan of seeing the best football that can be played.
