re: Do you agree with ESPN on this one? - Cavs-Heat related.

I think the bookmark function only has a limited capacity, but FWIW I would have given Lebron a B tonight (did not watch, had a ton of shite to do). The triple-double is impressive, but they did lose to the Cavs and his +/- was a -9. Of course, that is not entirely attributed to him, but a good (I think, but apparently he had some long scoring drought) individual game in a slightly embarassing loss.

It's just odd.
I have the same conversations with NBA fans and Laker and KObe fans with probably 4 or 5 guys I work with.
The Laker/Kobe guys say all the same stuff you do and I say the same stuff I say to you, and not once did any of them ever disagree with me so vehemently that they felt the need to call me names and say all kinds of childish stuff.
You gotta admit that shite is pretty weird.

This is extremely serious to me, and I find it highly upsetting when you say that I'm a failure at all walks of life. That's just mean man. My confidence is going to be shaken tomorrow at work

My level of give a damn is very low.
And fwiw, I would have given LeBron a B as well.
I still think it's stupid that ESPN does that whole Heat Index for the Heat yet didn't do anything similar for the Celtics or the Lakers. I don't think any supposedly non-biased sports news agency should do something like that. Let the Heat have that on their nba homepage or something but ESPN shouldn't be running it.

You'll need some sort of pick me up.

But you do realize that this Heat regular season has been infinitely more followed than any Lakers or Celtics regular season, right?
I mean, not even in the same ballpark is the level of interest.

Probably because of the amount of hype and attention ESPN has given to the Heat. The masses tend to follow whatever they are shown. TBH, the only reason why I watched this game is because it was against Cleveland in Cleveland. If the Heat were playing the Bobcats or Wizards, I wouldn't have given a damn about it.
I'm sure ratings for Heat games have gone up though, but that usually happens for every team that acquires a new all-star and this team acquired two in their primes. I bet ratings for Celtics games went up after they acquired Garnett and Allen went up as well. It happens.

The old 1 game sample size.
This phrase you've submitted implies that the 1 game sample size has been used over and over multiple times to the point where it is "old". If that's the case...it's not a 1 game sample size.
Logic zing!

It's because we are on a message board. Look around TD, conversations happen like this on every board all the time. IRL, when those same posters meet, 99.99% of the time everyone is respectful and civil.

I know....a fricking triple-double and he has people saying he played shitty and he gets a C. Its funny!
He, Wade, and Bosh played non-existant defense last night.
