Do we really need a week off between Conferences Championship weekend and the Super Bowl?

Does anyone else like the week off? This game should’ve been played last weekend no need for the delay.

I wish they wouldn't have the week off but I understand that the teams have so many media events and whatnot this week that it becomes really disjointed. They did all their game planning and practicing last week and this week is mainly walkthroughs.

The league got rid of the extra week at one point for a short time but decided that it was better with the two week break.

Maybe even 2/23. If they add an 18th game there will be a second bye week during the regular season.

I think they want to do it weekend of “president’s day” so some will have Monday off.

There is no real reason for it except for money for the league.
