Mets have taken the series and look to go 4 out of 5 on the weekend. deGrom makes his second start of the season. Pitch count around 75 being reported. Threw 59 in his first start against the Nationals last week.
Mets are 30 games over .500 and enjoy a 5.5 game lead in the division as Atlanta falls closer to Philadelphia in 3rd than to first place in the NL East

You know what’s gonna happen in September? Mets will still be in first and you’ll still be using same “reigning champs” you’re using right now. We’ve watched Nats, Phillies and Marlins all win a WS this century and for some reason Braves fans think that their ring is the one that breaks the back of Mets fans lol. Y’all just aren’t a good team this year and it’s ok
