Yep! Like Omar Little said, paraphrasing, "Got to have a code". There used to be a code with this stuff for players, teammates, wives, and the other woman. Every one knew what went down, especially on road trips, but it was all in the game.
There were definitely privileges for keeping to the code, although admittedly mostly beneficial to the players image, and to the bank accounts of the women. And there were definitely consequences to breaking the code. That said, the code is largely dead these days and its not all on the other woman...some of the players are evening outing themselves online.
