So IF he didn't quit, he would have 8? Well he did quit. MJ didn't have the heart or chest to go to 4 finals in a row, hell forget 5.

He's probably going to lose [again] this year and if that happens, Lebron is one fluke Ray Allen 3 pointer from bring 1-5 in finals appearances.

MJ played in game for 3 months (and practiced with the team for months) before being eliminated in 1995.
That Bulls team just lacked depth and wasn't that good.

I believe he retired because he was run down, beat up and knew he couldn't get his intensity up to that same level.
Maybe Lebron felt the same way after San Antonio in 2013, his third consecutive final, same point that MJ quit. But Lebron deserves credit for pushing through it. MJ very well could've lost had he kept on. Nearly everyone loses if they play that deep into the playoffs year after year.
In his mind he thought maybe it's better just to walk away rather than lose in a Finals that he knew he didn't have the energy to win at that point.

The east was actually competitive back then.

If that's the word you want to use, it's competitive now.
If you want to argue the East was of marginally higher quality then fine, but it wasn't really that good. The Bulls and Knicks were of championship caliber in the early 90s, then it was a bunch of average teams. Those average teams of the 90s era are below-average teams now. But the East wasn't stacked with contenders.

Exactly. You couldn't expect MJ to carry the team because he literally couldn't. Only LeBron is capable of such a feat.

I watched Michael Jeffery Jordan lose in the Eastern Conference Semifinals in 1995, so explain how I'm supposed to give him a title for that season?

You go on talking about others being intellectually dishonest while you act like MJ was back to his elite self in 1995 without playing a full season

Then he should have been well rested. AND HIS KILLER INSTINCT! DON'T YOU GET IT! MICHAEL CAN'T LOSE BECAUSE HE HAD TOO MUCH WILL TO WIN!

No. But once again, is losing in the finals better or worse than the first round?
So LBJ has only lost in the Finals?
And again, you miss the point of the shitty East and just how bad it has been for years now. LBJ is one of the best ever, he should be in the Finals when you regularly have under .500 teams making the playoffs in a weak conference. The East was stout when MJ was playing those teams, so yes he did lose some rounds to them. And those teams went on to win the Finals. See the difference?
When LBJ faced a tough team, we saw him fold like a napkin in 2011. In 2013, let's just say Ray Allen bailed him out or he'd really look bad with 1 Ship. 2 titles with super teams built by his own hands (with Pat Riley of course). 2 losses.
MJ super teams won 3 straight since we'll call MJ, Pippen, and Rodman a super team as well.

Someone already posted the stats about his turnover ratio. MJ could always score. You really think he was back to his full self for the 95 playoffs, you're really going to stand by that statement?
