Not wanting to Jinx the Lions...but they are 1 win away from the Super Bowl, and 15 seasons away from finishing 0-16 (tied for the worst season in NFL history).

Since that 0-16 season, this is only their 6th season above .500. In that time, they are 103-138-2. Before this season, their last playoff win was 1991.

What Dan Campbell has done with this program is pretty incredible...

Similar to New Orleans after Katrina even the NFL let them win a Super Bowl to help bring back the city.

Was a great day in the city on Sunday. Lions win and then, later in the evening, Red Wings win a big one right down the street. Detroit has had a rough time since the auto bust but things are, and have been, on an upward trajectory.

We all thought Detroit was going to be back when HBO made that show about the gigolo.
