I've brought up Westbrook before in comparison to Rose on here. People on this board severely underrate him. He can't shoot quite as well as Rose, but he might be more athletic

Rose shouldn't be the MVP, but it does seem like every time he gets a nationally televised game he goes the frick off.

At this point he is pretty much a lock to win it if the Bulls hold on to the #1 spot. In a few years everyone will look back and say "Damn, Dwight Howard got fricked"

ZOMFG. He made a god dang layup! Hardass! I made plays like that in high school(and I was horrible).. Besides, even if it were impressive, it's not like he does it on the reg anyway.

Ehh, I'd say equally athletic. Not sure you can get any more athletic than those two

Durant is overrated. He's not a top 5 player either.

And who exactly would you take over him, provided that Wade and LeBron are the obvious givens.

You're correct, I haven't. I'm pretty much just talking out of my arse. Just causing trouble where I can.

Considering that Rose missed his 2 best teammates for a combined 53 games, what he has done his more impressive than what any other individual player has done this year. He's not the best player in the NBA, but when you look beyond just the stat lines and PERs and all that other bullshite, the guy has had the best season of any player in the NBA. He has literally been the most valuable player to a team this year and that's why he deserves to be the MVP and whether or not the media agrees, it won't matter to me. The guy will be the 2010-2011 MVP as far as I am concerned.

Rose, Howard, and Dirk all have a legitimate argument for MVP.

Based on your argument, Dirk deserves a huge mention. They're fricking 50-21 with Jason Terry as their 2nd best player.

I'm not sure off the top of my head how the NBA handles it MVP voting, but if it were a top 3 player thing I'd vote Rose, Nowitzki, and then Howard. If 5, then that same order followed by Kobe and then Durant.

no particular order
Howard
Durant
Kobe
and the two obvious Wade and Lebron

others I would take over him include
Motivated Paul
D. Williams
Dirk
and if not for injuries Brandon Roy

westbrook hits FT at a higher rate and has a better FG%. i don't care how my guy scores, as long as he's efficient

Yea, I'll take those 5. Definitely the first four before Durant.

He's a one-end player. 4 of those 5 are known for being great defensive players.

I think Howard is slightly overrated. He's the best player at what I'd say is the weakest position as a whole in the NBA right now. It's not hard to look great at your position when no one else is really stepping up to challenge you. Hell if Bynum would stay healthy and get pt and more looks, then he'd be better than Howard, but that's all hypothetical anyways.

Which is the reason he is so valuable.
