I don't see the football tv deal being this much, because there's not near as much airtime (and potential for ESPN/CBS/Fox to make money on ads).

It's not. Here is the revenue distribution per conference in 2010. ACC got about $18 M, Big East about $23 M, SEC about $15 M. Most of the small conferences get about $1-3 M each, but the A-10 received about $6 M.

That's only for the MM tournament.

No, you're right. I was only counting the ESPN deal. Adding the ESPN + CBS contracts is just over $17 M per team per year.
