For me, it was the lies that he told after he knew "she" did not exist. Why keep the story going? Embarassment? I could possibly see that. Also, he was friends or had a relationship with the Tuiasoospppaioso guy.

predicted when this broke that Ronaiah would take the complete fall for this deal in exchange for $$$$ he will get paid by IMG (Te'0s) new agency and he will not be sued or have charges brought as anyone would really do if they had been taken advantage of for real

Basically, a woman who would like to remain anonymous came forward and said Roniahiahiah T. was a church friend with her, felt terribly guilty about what he did, confessed to her one night that Ronny T. and TWO of his cousins, one male and one female, came up with this... Greenberg asked her "Well, what about the on field meeting after the Stanford game?" to which she relied she did not have info on that...
Story still stinks...

I think most of us don't believe this report by this woman because most of us believe a human being like Manti Te'o can't possibly be that naive/stupid.

To believe teo is a victim would be to believe a slew of unbelievable things.

I smell cover up. They tell him to STFU and lay low for a while and leak out some information that it was 100 percent him and Te'o didn't know anything.
Over the next few years, he'll get an under-the-table settlement
