Deadspin has done a couple of funny things in its time, but I mostly tuned out when that AJ guy stalked ESPN people on Super Bowl weekend and ZOMG reported that Stu Scott was hitting on a chick at a party. It was one of the gayest/creepiest things I have ever read.

I can't believe his real name hadn't previously been known. I'm guessing it was on the internet and I'd just never seen it. I've always wondered what Big Cat calls him when they're not doing the show.

I used to read Deadspin everyday, when they had really fricking talented people like Jack Dickey and Tommy Craggs and Emma Carmichael. They were falling off before the Hogan deal, but that put and end to them, basically. I think their whole deal with Peter Thiel is fricked up and kinda scary, but Deadspin has zero room to claim moral superiority. Drew Magary is the only person worth reading they have left.
They have a beef with Barstool and I get it, I only like a handful of people from Barstool, but good god Deadspin is so insufferable the last several years. They’re a Brooklyn version of the old dudes bitching from the muppets.
Outing PFT is super fricked up, even though a lot of people knew who he was and what he looked like. I though his response was perfect though and I bet PMT gets even higher ratings now.

Yeah they were posted on here like a year ago. It was fairly well known if one wanted to find it.
And PFT didn't really care he just thought it was amusing. Big Cat and PFT have both repeatedly asked people to keep their personal lives/signficant others out of all of this.
PFT seems like a really good dude. He's better than Barstool but he's making really good money now I imagine.

I can see an ugly breakup with PFT and PMT/Barstool
PMT is going to eventually be bigger than Barstool itself, if it isn’t already and we already saw these issues with BVT. Big Cat is ultra loyal to Portnoy and Co. I can see PFT wanting to break away at some point and Big Cat saying absolutely not. We’ll see.
