so if you plan to hit a 6-iron on the first par 3 the night before, you stick to it even though a front moved in early and you're now hitting into a 35mph wind??

LOL..Thats not a gameplan. You dont gameplan par 3's.

my last comment here. i believe the 54 hole lead stat is absolutely meaningless to tiger woods. he has come from behind to win over 20 pga tournaments, he has come from behind in the final round to win a major, he has come from behind to win 2 us amateurs (down 6 or 7 holes at one point). if you think that is a weakness in his game, you don't know tiger woods.

should be a great day for golf. enjoy!

Craig Barlow appreciation.

+8 through 5....Why even finish? LOl. You still get your sponsor money from teeing it up on the weekend.

Had to give it up 8 years ago due to the lower back. Still love the game and watch when I can.

Damn man. Have you seen Drs about it?

Shout out to my boy Broadaway leading Nationwide tour. One of the longest I ever played with. Dude makes birdies all the time....if only he can limit his bogeys.

No disrespect to ya. I have been playing for 40 years. I know how the game works but have not played in a pro tourney. If you have thats great. Good for you.

Have we started talking about Day 4 of the US Open in here yet or are we still bitching like some schoolgirls?

Let me know when we can talk current golf. (Weir sucking it up again, btw)

A bunch and they all said the same thing. Degenerative arthritis and worsening osteoporosis.

you missed the point, are you saying that gameplan doesn't change, even though course conditions change dramatically overnight?

He won 14 Majors all by leading after 54 holes.

That mean he lost 39 Majors while trailing. Thats Huge.

Tiger has also never won a major when he finishes with more strokes than another golfer in the field. That's HUGE!!

When Dustin Johnson won at Pebble earlier this year, he had 3 good rounds but finished with a 74 the last day. He did birdie the last hole to win, but still he stumbled the last day. And obviously the course is set up 3-4 shots harder for the Open than it was for the "Clam Bake".

So add 3 to Johnson's 74 and saying that he might shoot that in the last round today brings everyone from Mickelson on up into the mix.

I dont want to look it up but didnt he hit like 5 fairways? He will hit driver maybe 3 times today. If he hits more than 5, he needs to lose.

DJ is a great guy and he knows the significance of this Tourney. He knows a win today gives him an extra 2 or 3 years on Tour. He will not lose this by fairways hit but by short stick. He will probably make 3 birdies so he need others or 8 bogeys to lose. Highly unlikeable.

Remember, they only play 2 rounds at PB during the Pro-Am.
