I don’t see Sid going to Catholic at the stage of his career. If Catholic wanted Sid, they would have gotten him years ago.
quote:And I'm perfectly fine with either.
Its gonna come down to Lil Weiner or Brew.
quote:I see him a couple of times a year during the season and just don't get the sense that he'll be leaving soon. It's likely a lot easier for him to leave though since he's not part of the state retirement system at Dunham.
I got my bets on Weiner. Esp since Dunham was runner up last week.

I’ll be curious to see how the central players respond to his style. He’s a good coach but very demanding with time and dedication to The program. If they buy in, then Central will be in good hands for sometime..

Think if Mahaffey is willing to give up the state benefits, its not like he has been in the system that long, he will get offered and take it.

Did it ever come out why Mahaffey left UHigh all of a sudden? I was hearing that Gordon couldn’t get it done anymore?

From what I know of CHS, they will actually take kids in and tell them pay what you can pay.

Springfield and Live Oak have done it in the past 15 years I believe.

Lol I’m pretty sure chs talent has not increased that much over the last 8-10 years. They have had serious talent coming in for 30 plus years.
The split is what has really helped them in the last 8-10 years, not the players they are getting.

It’s more about the culture, the details and buying into the grind to be a champion that has propelled Catholic. I’m not sure people really understand the level of commitment these top end large schools put in throughout the entire year

This should be on the coaches changes board

Wrong. A split they have voted against every time.
