I agree with you somewhat because of the matchup premise, though the Mariners could be a tough out after adding Castillo.
That said, for one day, at least, I like it because it gives a lot of people heartburn.

I really wish I couldn't remember who is the manager.... I didn't like it when he was hired and I like less now.
He's a good people person and easy to like which was needed after the scandal, but our strategy has been very questionable and I hope it doesn't bite us in the arse this year.
