It’s interesting looking at who’s caught our starters through almost two rotations.
JV has had McCann twice.
Keuchel has had stassi twice.
McCullers has had McCann twice.
Cole has had stassi once and now McCann once.
Morton has had McCann and we’ll see who catches him tomorrow.
Keuchel was great early last year with McCann as his “personal” guy. I wonder if it’s just about when McCann needs a break this year for a few guys.

Padres might have been better off throwing marisnick out on that if he ends up stealing second. With McCann on second we might need three hits to get him in.

I hate that crap. Cole threw a a better pitch than where bregman took strike 1. The out of town team gets the call and the home team has to suck it up.
