Where's the leadership of this team? Who's the guy that's going to rally the team to get them back on track. Correa had been the vocal leader but he's gone. Springer was the passionate leader. He's gone. I don't see that element in any of the current guys.

Dubon- a temporary place holder

Bregman- never got a leadership vibe from him. He always seemed to self motivate through haters

Yordan- great player but he's never struck me as a vocal guy. Just goes about his own shite

Abreu- a struggling noob. What influence does he have?

Tucker- same as Yordan. Quiet guy.

Pena- idk. Maybe.

Julks- rookies are supposed to keep quiet

Jake- not enough of a track record to own the team

Maldy- lol let him rally the troops and then hit .140

Lance- he's got the fire but he's always injured. Hard to rally behind that guy

I was just wondering today if the absence of uncle Mike could be having a negative effect on the team. Fortunately he rejoins in Anaheim (allegedly)

Brantley is the most respected leader at this point I think for sure. Altuve respected obviously but has always been a quieter lead by example type. Not sure what to expect from Brantley when he’s back next week but he’s very much needed

Altuve’s energy on the field can be a huge spark plug. Hopefully he comes back hot and not in a funk

He hit one out today @ Wrigley. Something our new first baseman has apparently lost the ability to do.

I didn't want Yuli back because I didn't want to rely on an aging Cuban whose average had fallen, power had diminished and was hitting way too many ground balls.

Yuli's numbers are meh, which means compared to Abreu, he's peak Albert Pujols.

I was wrong about Abreu. I thought he still had something in the tank. But I also thought the White Sox would challenge for their division title this year based on their split with the Astros. So it's obvious I don't know shite.

But I do know that Maldonado sucks, something that Baker still hasn't realized.

It's going to have to be the shortest player on the team once more. Hopefully, he will be back in a couple of weeks.
