i think Texas loses in a rematch with OU.

In that scenario the committee would take a 1 loss OU over Oregon all day long

Sorry I should have stated a 2nd 1-loss SEC team isn’t getting in over a 1-loss P5 conf champion. Ohio State woulda been in over Bama last year if they had 1 loss instead of 2.
