Will be a great series. Cubs on a 9 game winning streak and Dodgers just blanked the Giants in San Fran last night.

Cubs have been fortunate I think to play some teams at the right time the last week and a half.

That ends this weekend as LA and SD are rolling pretty good. As a Cub fan I'll be ecstatic to go 3-3.

You left out the part they out scored those teams something like 94-46. I think the split with both the dodgers and Padres. I’ll take that as a win playing away

A month ago, I would've been fine with a .500 record for the PHI-NYM-PHI-LAD-SD stretch; now 9-7 would seem to be a disaster.

I don’t worry much about the offense but I feel like pitching could tank at any moment. Especially with all the recent injuries.

You forgot Justin Steele is coming back. That will be huge. He will be rusty but he will improve and hopefully be there in October

They have been winning with lots of injuries to the pitching staff. It’s been impressive.

Very much so. Niko with a heads up play and those two homers late were clutch

And Thielbar just put on the IL as well. It's crazy they managed this streak with the MASH unit for a pitching staff.

Very pleasing win tonight. Several great defensive plays by both teams.

Dodgers maybe have the same issues as they have had the last couple of years with their bullpen? They eventually had to use starters in the pen post-season because most of their bullpen was unusable the last two years. Could that be an issue for them again this year?

I think we started to see that this weekend.
