Agreed. Then the entire season really is a playoff where you take those 8 teams at the end. Season only has 12 games for the champion.

First of all, you were supposed to create a conference out of teams that are not currently in BCS conferences.

I like this, make these two seperate conferences and then take the winner of each, and they play in a championship game for one of the BCS at large bids.

I just think they should add two teams to the Pac 10 (Fresno, Hawaii, Utah, or Boise) to make it so the Pac 10 can have a championship game)
Add Notre Dame to the Big 11 and give them a conference championship game
Add 4 teams to the Big East so they can have a conference championship game
(UCF, Marshall, ECU, and Troy)
