Well, that was an impressive half for the Cowboys.

I really hope that Dallas either gets an entirely new coaching staff, QB and GM or that they trade Brady J and Marcus Spears. They deserve better than this. This is the worst team in the NFL right now. They are completely clueless and as badly coached as the Washington Husky defense.

Spears has been a bust. Ok player, but not worthy of a 1st round pick. James is decent LB.

Well, when you have holes at about 7 positions it is hard to be effective.

Jerry and his GM decisions are the problem.

He needs to give up that title and let someone else become the GM.

I don't think you can call anybody who has played for this clown car of an organization a "bust." He has very good skills but has been used very poorly. Brady has been holding they bailing bucket on the Titanic his entire career. He has led the team in tackles the previous two seasons and is trying to make something out of this cluster f#@k Rex Ryan defense.

JJ needs to swallow some pride and get a GM. Won't happen, though....

I saw this on Shag and I can't disagree with it.

quote:

Jerry's GM decisions have killed this team. Entire draft classes are no longer on this Cowboys team. He did nothing in free agency and cut out depth due to salary cap constraints (Guroude). He has handed out ridiculous contracts based on one year showings. He gave out crazy deals to guys who aren't on this team anymore and will destroy the ability to get free agents next offseason (Roy and MBIII deals). Yet any time it is brought up Jerry will talk up the 3 Super Bowls. Yes he had a hand in those but it was a small hand. The big hand is doing commentary on Fox.

Yeah, and you do because? I'll go with you are an internet tough guy with almost no knowledge of football. If you are defending the Dallas Cowboy coaching staffs of the last two decades you, sir, know absolutely less than nothing.

I do know that Rex Ryan isn't on this current Cowboy's coaching staff. So I guess I'd rather be an internet tough guy than an internet dumbass.

All of this is true, and in addition he has hired coaches on the cheap and mostly guys with no head coaching ability.

honestly, I think jerry has done a great job at assembling talent. his problem has been picking head coaches that he can control(with the exception of parcells)
