All that matters now is winning your conference and finishing ahead of other G-5 champions. And the Ole Miss game doesn’t really matter for either of those things.
Winning the American puts them in over Memphis and USF. And with Boise losing to USF they probably are ahead of the MWC unless UNLV goes undefeated or something. Sunbelt doesn’t have any dominant teams. And Tulane already has 2 P4 wins.
