Could the CP3 uncertainty

be part of what is holding up the Hornets sale? Shinn wants a price including a happy CP3 / D. West, Gary Schouest sees the writing on the wall and knows CP3 is gone and attendance/performance are likely decreased as a result.

Not likely....there is no real incentive for Chouest to buy the team right now, other than him REALLY wanting to own the team.

-Shinn raised the asking price by $25M
-BP oil spill
-Guaranteed lockout/strike after this season
-Face of the franchise is disgruntled

It is a pretty dicey situation right now

Yeah they need to really just compromise and split the difference. The whole owner transition could have probably made this whole thing worse to begin with.

It has to be basically done as they wouldn't have hired Williams and Demps if it wasn't.
