Tressel's legacy to OSU fans
He destroyed Michigan. After Cooper's era of futility Tressel came in and called his shot against them when he was introduced at the basketball game. He goes up there with his 3rd string QB making his first career start and beats Michigan in the big house. I put that game right up there with the two national championship games as my favorite games ever.
He finished 9-1 against them and left them in a complete mess.

Love Tress as a person. As a coach i think he was just what we needed after Cooper. At the time of his infractions, it seemed like the world was out to get Ohio St, but ultimatley, in the grand scheme of things and as time passes on, what he did was nothing compared to Penn St, Miami, USC, UNC and eventually Florida St. So the longer he is away from Ohio St, the better his legacy will become. I personally feel like he was a better mentor and father figure then he was a coach. Glad to see him make the Hall of Fame.
