How many P5 teams tried to schedule Liberty?

Print the trophies.

Doesn’t matter to me.

Well that’s odd. It mattered a lot to you a few pages ago when you were convinced the fiesta bowl committee decided to pick liberty over SMU because sone other moron(as in, in addition to you) said so.

What happened?

Whoever the committee was, they made their choice very clear.

Well I mean they put alabama over florida st. The only thing that’s clear is they made multiple stupid choices.

It is awesome that there is another opportunity to beat up on a cupcake (ACC 6-6). Hope everything goes well.

It would actually look great in your trophy case next to that ‘we best Arkansas at their homecoming’ ribbon

Seems to be SMU should be playing umass or some equivalent in their bowl. Then we’d be 1 game closer on both sides to having comparable schedules.

And how many P5 teams tried to schedule Liberty?

Did Liberty try to schedule any? It kinda works both ways. I don’t even see any in the future until a 4 game set w Va tech 2027-2030

You really think that? Come on, you know better. The P5 schedules a G5 (or less) when it is to their advantage. And there is nothing wrong with that. The G5 (and less) are cupcakes for the power programs. Until they are not.

Played P5 in 2018 (3), 2019 (4), 2020 (3), 2021 (3) and 2022 (3). Moved to conference play in 2023. We have not seen the schedule for 2024. For better or worse (more often worse), we play P5. Need to see what the conference schedule looks like to make room for future opportunities.

Little league has been peacocking for pages and pages about p5 teams not wanting to schedule liberty, but has no evidence liberty tried to schedule p5 teams outside of “you know better”

And now this after talking about how schedules are set years in advance

About the same as Rice (6-6) through East Carolina (2-10).

Oh, we’re including conference teams in this discussion now? Ok.

Tell me about Sam Houston and Middle Tennessee St. And which one liberty needed a goaline stand to beat

And you point is, what?

My point is they’re essentially an FCS getting a New Year’s six invite.

A Bama fan actually believes there is a conspiracy to have a weak schedule?

It was a G5 schedule. The top ranked G5 team gets an NY6 invite. It is not much harder than that.

I tell you what, you find a post where I hate Bama. Take your time. It is going to take a while.

They have on average played three P5 teams per season. They shifted to FBS conference play with CUSA. It is an anomaly that they did not play a P5.

Stop making this more than it is.

ACC killed themselves with that horrible tv deal they agreed to.

Kill is a hash term. The Pac-12 "killed" themselves because they wouldn't take less from ESPN. The ACC has a TV contract with ESPN until 2036. They just threw 2 Pac-12 schools a lifeline.
