All of these anti Ohio St threads are just starting to make me think that yall dont want to play Ohio St. Everyday we have 5 new threads about how we dont deserve to be there and this and that blah blah blah, coming up with a new reason to keep us out. Why is this board obsessed with my Buckeyes....hhhmmm i wonder?

Ohio State's resume last year was better...Fresno State's and Boise State's of the world had better resumes than this year's Ohio State team.

It's is one of the absolute worst - just a disgrace to Big10 football. NIU deserves a shot over Ohio State.

quote:

0-26

Cal 0-8 in Pac 12
Northwestern 0-6
Illinois 0-6
Purdue 0-6

Ohio State gave up 35 points to Illinois.

How others fared against Illinois:

Indiana gave up 35. (4-6 Indiana beat Illinois 52-35; tOSU beats Illinois 60-35)
Washington gave up 24 points
Nebraska gave up 19 points (early in October when no one on the planet ever accused Nebraska of having a defense that wasn't a disaster.)
Penn State gave up 17
Michigan State gave up 3 points (42-3)

Ohio State gave up 30 points to Northwestern

How others fared against Northwestern:

Maine gave up 35 points
Nebraska gave up 24
Michigan gave up 19
Minnesota gave up 17
Iowa gave up 10

Ohio State gave up 34 points to Cal

How others fared against Cal:

Portland State gave up 37
Northwestern gave up 30
Arizona gave up 28
USC gave up 28
Colorado gave up 24
Wazzu gave up 22
Oregon State gave up 17
Washington gave up 17
Oregon gave up 16
UCLA gave 10

Only Portland State gave up more points to Cal than Ohio State.

Wouldn't go that far. Vandy would be a dogfight. But this thread is about the current #3 team, OSU.

I would love for LSU to get a shot at OSU although we suck this yr. A good OSU team is about on par with a bad LSU team

How many of these teams that you have listed are undefeated and have won 22 games in a row?

I'll hang up and listen.

And probably will win 24- in a row and STILL be left out of the big game.

Explain why.......... I'll hang up and listen.......

It really doesn't matter. They could have won every game this season 70-0 and the MSB and non-Midwest media members would still dog Ohio State.

You are right I would rather see Bama play Florida State. Pound for pound athlete for athlete the best match up in a MNC in some time. Would be a battle. Unlike the bludgeoning Ohio State would receive from both teams.

Because of the idiots that football fans accept to be college football analysts. Seriously - Stanford got a pass after losing to a crappy Utah team because "they weren't playing Stanford ball" that night....and are still in the top 10 after losing to a bad USC team. If you see that and can't admit that there's something biased about the polls then there is no help for you.
